About The Hailey

The Hailey has been a Residential Care Home specialising in Mental Health for more than 40 years and as such is very well established in the community, with very good relationships with all of the local Community Mental Health Teams, GP Surgeries and Local Authorities.

Over the years The Hailey has undergone extensive work to modernise and enhance the facilities and services the home has to offer, which includes bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a Residents Kitchen that can be used by anyone with supervision if necessary, and with improved outside spaces, for residents to relax in the sunshine. Further more recent The Hailey has seen the addition of a new building with purposely designed spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living space, with open directly onto a well-positioned Courtyard Garden, these rooms were designed with more independent residents in mind.

At the same time the Residents Dining Room has been extended, had food serving counters installed and additional amenities to enhance the dining experience for all residents.

The accommodation is split over three floors with 18 bedrooms on the ground floor, 16 of which have ensuite facilities, there are 4 additional bathrooms, 2 with hoists and a disabled wet room shower.

A hair and treatment salon is located on the ground floor of The Hailey for residents that are unable to afford High Street prices, and like a little pampering.

To enhance all of the services offered by the staff at The Hailey, to the rear of the home is a purpose built Day Centre, which has recently been updated and modernised, where residents of The Hailey and Wimbledon House regularly attend. A variety of activities are covered there, which included planning, shopping for and preparing meals, general domestic chores, washing up, using the washing machine and the tumble dryer.
