Day Centre

To the rear of The Hailey is a purpose built Day Centre which has been mentioned previously, this includes a Training Room. The Day Centre is used primarily by our Residents to enhance their Independent living skills, with assistance from their care team, they also enjoy cake making, afternoon team, and trying new hobbies, both in the Day Centre and within the home itself. Other activities are arranged regularly which include, Bingo, shopping trips, lunches out, trips to the theatre, cinema and when appropriate short holidays.

Moving forwarded we are considering employing an Activities Coordinator to work in the Day Centre to deliver a more extensive activities programme and promoting even more independence and rehabilitation.

Training Room

All About Care uses the training room to deliver in house training to staff across the organisations in a bright and comfortable environment and to date has seen the successful completion of many courses such as:

  • First Aid at Work
  • First Aider
  • Moving & Handling
  • Safe Handling of Medication
  • Adult Protection
  • Health & Safety
  • Fire Protection
  • Safeguarding
  • Equality & Diversity

The Training room has also been hired out to external organisations for them to deliver their own training to their own people.
